Life together...

We have built a special life for ourselves full of family, friends, celebrations, laughter and love...lots and lots of love. We are best friends and love doing just about everything together. At times we're just really big kids at heart. We wholeheartedly believe that life should be lived to the fullest.

We can be pretty adventurous and love to explore, whether it's cycling the back roads of neighboring towns, walking along hidden alleyways in Italy or taking an RV cross country. There are so many places to see and new cultures to learn about.

Paul - the other pea in my pod - by Ann

Paul's the best thing that ever happened to me.

He's my best friend, my handy man, my bug squisher, my rock and the other pea in my pod. He's adorable, hard working, caring and incredibly devoted.

Paul can be very shy at first, which makes him enduring and sweet. He has a quiet strength to him, and is always the one friends call when they need a helping hand.

He will be an incredible role model for our child. He has dedicated his life to public service; he was a firefighter with the Air Force and is now a Lieutenant on the local fire department. He strongly believes in giving back and volunteering in the community.

Paul is so excited at the thought of having a child. I can already see him crawling around the floor with the baby, or tenderly rocking them to sleep. I often see him looking at other dad's with their kids and I know he's dreaming of the day...

I think he will be the type of daddy that all little girls and boys dream of.

Ann - my soul mate - by Paul

Annie is the love of my life. From the first time I met her, I had no doubt that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She is my best friend, my soul mate and my cheerleader. She's a great garden designer, party planner, house decorator and talented wedding photographer.

Ann gives so much of herself to everyone in her life. She is the most loving, loyal and caring person I know. She is also a huge animal lover and volunteers at a local animal sanctuary for homeless animals.

My wife loves to bake and everything she makes is great, but what happens to our kitchen is a shame. Last year she decided to make cookies for her employees. She had been baking all day and when I got home I found the kitchen, and my wife, covered in flour and chocolate chips. Ann had flour on her face, in her hair and on the tip of her nose...she couldn't have looked any cuter.

Ann's career allows her to work from home and she plans on doing that until our child is in kindergarten. So this is my Annie...warm, fuzzy, and always going above and beyond to make the people in her life happy. She'll make an incredible mother.

The place we call home

We live in a beautiful neighborhood. There are always children riding their bikes, folks walking their dogs and impromptu get togethers discussing the latest news in town. There's also a block party twice a year that all the neighbors attend. We have a large backyard that is fenced in, with lots of room to run and play and a swimming pool where we spend many summer days. We have acres upon acres of apple and peach orchards - one is right down the road from us. There is horseback riding about five minutes away, along with state parks for hiking and biking and the beautiful beach for swimming and building sandcastles. Our town may be small, but we have great spirit. In October there is the Annual Halloween Costume parade and at Christmas, Santa arrives by fire truck and kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the town Christmas tree. There's nothing like singing Christmas carols out of tune while munching on homemade cookies and watching thousands of lights magically appear. It's one of the things that we cannot wait to share with our child.

Family & Friends

We are blessed to have very close families and a great group of friends we consider our extended family. We love spending time together, whether it's the holidays, vacations or graduations. Sometimes we even make up something to celebrate (like niece Alyssa losing her first tooth) to get together.

Everyone is excited to welcome a new child to our family. There is so much love and support surrounding us as we wait with anticipation to bring our child home.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to learn about us and the special people in our lives. We are honored to be considered to love and raise your child. Please know that if you choose us, your child will be raised as our own in every sense of the word and a day will never go by that they will not know how important, loved and cherished they are. He or she will be an extension of our hearts and souls and our most precious gift. They will know the incredible sacrifice you made for him or her and the great love you have for them.

We look forward to the opportunity to share more with you about ourselves and our plans for the future. It is our hope that knowing the wonderful life and the great deal of love we will shower upon your child will fill your heart with some happiness and peace of mind. We would also love for you to be a part of his or her world, if you so choose, but we will understand if you decide not to be.
