Welcome to our profile!
Hello, we are Ted and Christina. We thank you for taking the time to read about us. We cannot imagine what a difficult decision this must be for you. We admire your strength and courage as you try to decide what is best for you and your baby. We hope these photos and our story will give you a sense of our family and home. Should you decide that you would like your baby to join our family, please know that he/she will know the love and courage it took for you to make this decision. |

Us We met in 2000 one summer night while watching our favorite band. The first thing that drew me to Ted was his incredible sense of humor. Once we started to get to know each other we discovered that we had many of the same values and goals in life. When we decided to spend the rest of our lives together we knew that we wanted children to be a part of it. We have so much love to give a child. |

Home & Camp We live in a quiet country neighborhood that is a short drive away from the capital of our state. We have two acres of land, a swimming pool and a large swing set. When the weather is nice you will find us outdoors working in the yard, barbecuing or sitting on our deck watching the many animals that visit. We share our home with our loveable dog, Zoe. She adores children, especially our nephew Alex. We enjoy taking her for walks and playing in the yard. We spend our summers at our camp in the Adirondacks. It is the same place that Ted grew up as a child playing with friends and spending time with family. We can often be found fishing, swimming at the beach, sitting by the campfire or having picnics with friends and family. We can't wait to share this all with a child! |

Christina It can often be said that my wife has a huge heart and puts people before herself. Christina is a very kind and caring person who always goes out of her way to help people - be it family or friends. She is always there to lend a helping hand with her sister and her nieces and nephew and is a very active part of their lives. Christina enjoys baking, gardening, reading and spending time at our camp. She is a supporter of breast cancer and has actively participated in the "Walk for A Cure" in our community and became a volunteer. This past year she also participated in the Equinox Thanksgiving Day dinners for the less fortunate by preparing and delivering meals on Thanksgiving Day. She is hoping someday to share these new traditions with a child of our own. |

Ted Ted is an easy going, fun and caring man. His hobbies include snowmobiling, four wheeling, working in the yard and playing with Zoe. Watching Ted with our nieces and nephew and his new godchild, I can imagine what a wonderful father he will be. Ted has worked as a district manager for a large company for the past 20 years. He is very hard working and good at his job. Even with the hustle and bustle of everyday life Ted always finds time for the little things. It could be as simple as taking me out for a quiet dinner, watching a movie together at home or spending time with family and friends. Everyday he makes me feel loved and appreciated. |

Family We are grateful for the strong, loving foundations our families have given us. They all support us with our decision to adopt and can't wait to welcome a new baby into the family. Christina is very close with her parents and her sister and her family. They each only live 30 minutes away and often get together on weekends to spend time together. It is not unusual for Ted and Christina to have their two nieces and nephew over for a fun-filled weekend or take them on our annual vacation to a water park with our friends and their children. Christina's sister is looking forward to becoming a first time aunt and the kids are anxious to welcome a new cousin into the family. Ted is an only child. However, he grew up with his cousin Matt who was like a brother to him. They would often go fishing and snowmobiling with his grandfather. Ted is looking forward to sharing these experiences and traditions with his own child. As a young adult, Ted's weekends were spent boating and camping with his aunts and uncles on a large lake in the Adirondacks. Ted's mom lives in northern Florida, which is a perfect place to vacation. We go to see her in the spring and she comes up to visit us in the summer and also during the Christmas holiday. She is very anxious for the opportunity to become a first time grandmother. |
