Welcome to our profile!

Hello. We appreciate your taking the time to read our profile. We hope it provides some insight into who we are and what our lives are like, and helps you to feel comfortable in considering us as parents for your child. Our home is a happy, warm and loving one, filled with family and friends. We look forward to raising a child, and we are excited to welcome a baby into our lives.

About Us

We met in college and began dating soon after. We have been married for over nine years and look for ward to starting a family.

We are best friends and have been together for over fifteen years.

We were both fortunate enough to grow up in families that did extensive travelling, a passion which continues to this day. In addition, we have travelled to europe, the Caribbean, and Canada in recent years. We are also frequent visitors to Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Northern Michigan, where our families maintain vacation homes.

We enjoy working on our historic home, exploring the outdoors, cooking, taking classes at the local university, and spending time with family and friends.

Mary Jane by Christopher

Mary Jane grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pa, an only daughter of a biology professor and an elementary school teacher. She had a unique and happy childhood, spending much of it travelling through North america, Europe and Australia visiting parks and accompanying her parents on their field studies.

Mary Jane enjoys reading, working in the garden, and kicking butt in Wii Bowling.

Mary Jane is easy going, fun-loving and has a sunny disposition which seems to draw people to her. She loves the outdoors, and my time with her has greatly enhanced my appreciation of nature and wildlife. She is intelligent, conscientious, and patient. These traits have helped to make her a successful attorney, and I believe they will enable her to be a great mom as well.

Christopher by Mary Jane

Christopher is an extremely motivated and loving person. although he would not readily admit it, he is a very sensitive and thoughtful individual. Christopher is great with children and they are naturally drawn to him. I think they can sense his gentle and caring personality. He spends a lot of time playing with and teaching our nieces, ages three and nine. I can honestly say he is the love of my life.

Christopher has worked for the same Fortune 50 Corporation for over twelve years, where he is a successful manager. his job affords him the flexibility to work from home, which would enable him to spend lots of quality time with our child.

Christopher loves sports and is a lifelong Red Sox fan. Growing up he played soccer, was a swimmer, ran cross-country and track, and trained in the martial arts for over twenty years.

As a black belt, Chris has spent countless hours instructing children in karate.

Chris is also a history buff, always interested in expanding his understanding of the people and events which have shaped our world. He enjoys spending time outside, travelling, boating, hiking, walking and playing with our dogs, reading, and watching movies.

Home

We live in a small city is nestled in the Finger lakes Region of Upstate New York. Our hometown is routinely listed as one of the best places to live in the United States, and has one of the highest rated school systems in the nation. We own a large five-bedroom home with a large fenced backyard, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in a small residential neighborhood. We are a short walk to downtown dining and shopping, as well as playgrounds, parks, and museums.

In addtion to our primary home, we spend many summer days and nights at the family property on Seneca lake. There is much to do at the cabin and the 26-acres of woods Sailing, waterskiing, fishing, and hiking, and many, many games of euchre!

We have two great dogs, Paris and Hector, who are very active and enjoy playing with children.

Family

Family is very important to us. We enjoy spending time with our close-knit families whether it is vacationing together or at a casual holiday get-together.

Mary's parents were married for over 50 years, until her father recently passed. They spent their time travelling the world, conducting plant and bird studies, visiting all seven continents in the process. They were also very active in the study of history, even authoring several books.

Christopher's parents have been married for 40 years, and live in syracuse, NY. Christopher's father is a vice president of engineering at a large aerospace corporation. Christophers mother stayed at home to raise him and his brother, but has since taken on careers in retail management and as an entrepreneur in interior design.

As a child, Christopher and his family rafted down the Colorado River and traveled throughout the continental United States and to Hawaii. We often travel with our families on vacations to visit extended family in Indiana, Michigan, Arizona and California.

Christopher's younger brother Jeff and his family live nearby, outside Buffalo, New York. He has two daughters, Courtney (9) and Morgan (3) who we love spending time with, going to the zoo, museums, playing games and swimming at the lake. Our families are very excited about the adoption process and can't wait for us to be parents!

Our friends are a huge part of our lives, whether we are getting together for dinner or on vacation together. They are a great support system!

Many of our friends live in places such as Chicago, Washington, DC and Indianapolis giving us an excuse to visit these cities often. Most of our friends have small children who we are sure would love a new playmate!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at our profile!

We wish you all the best in finding the right solution for you and your child. If you decide to place your child for adoption, we truly believe we would provide a loving, safe and nurturing environment for your child.
