Our Story

We have been happily married for 6 years though we have known each other since early elementary school. Being that our families have been friends for years, there are many fond memories and fun times of us swimming in Aimee's family pool, camping, skating and sledding though neither of us thought that someday, wed be married. It just happened that one day we decided to go on a real date...and from there we dated for a few years, got engaged and then married shortly thereafter.

We believe that our deep friendship has given us the rock solid foundation which we have built our lives upon. Together we walk through life with similar views, happiness, good humor, open hearts and minds. We both dream of filling our home with even more love and happiness and absolutely cannot wait to be called "Mom" and "Dad!"

Our Home

Our home is located on two acres of land, with plenty of room to play! We live in a four-bedroom colonial, in a seacoast town, that is known for its true New England atmosphere. We are proud to say that our home is where our hearts are and we feel very fortunate to have restored our house to make it a perfect place to raise a family.

We have gardens surrounding our home and a huge field in our backyard that is just ideal for future baseball games, running and playing. Our quiet, safe neighborhood has many young families, supportive neighbors and lots of children. It is less than a mile from a fantastic school system, various beaches, parks, historic forts and hiking trails.

It is also very close to a seacoast city that has endless things to do and explore. On summer nights, one of our favorite things to do is go to the outdoor concerts and plays in the park. We also love to go out to our all time favorite Italian restaurant, bike to the park for a Sunday picnic with family, check out all the boutiques and go to the Music Hall. We always say how fortunate we are to live in a "vacation area" that has so much to do. The only thing that is missing for us is filling our home and life with a child's love!

Our Community

Around the corner from our house is our favorite fishing pier and a fantastic park for swimming, grilling and snorkeling. On summer nights we love to have fires on the beach while we toast marshmallows and listen to the surf. We really look forward to bringing our child to all our favorite hang outs!

This inlet leads right to the ocean and is one of our favorite places to kayak, fish and boat with family and friends. It is a great place to bring a picnic lunch and just enjoy the day.

Joe's Thoughts on Aimee

I always could envision Aimee as the woman I wanted to grow old with and have been excited to become a parent with her for as long as I can remember. I feel lucky to have been a friend to Aimee for years before we actually began dating. I say lucky because she is simply the best person to share all of life's moments with. Aimee is such a fun loving person to be around; everyone is energized by her passion for life, caring demeanor and great sense of humor. I can already hear her singing cute children's songs as she gets up bright and early to make breakfast for our son or daughter.

Aimee is currently a third grade teacher though has also taught first and second grade for the past ten years. Being with children and teaching is something that comes so naturally to Aimee. To her the kids are the best part of her job and truly make everyday interesting, exciting and new.

Aimee truly loves life and takes advantage of every moment. She loves to garden and has beautifully landscaped our entire yard. I can just picture her having a small vegetable garden with our child someday! Aimee also enjoys taking photographs, reading, kayaking, watching movies, cooking gourmet meals, taking long walks with our dog Ollie and just lazy days at the beach. She will always encourage our child to be loving, adventurous, self confident and to take advantage of all that life has to offer. She will be wonderful role model!

Sincere and warm hearted

Aimee loves being around children and has this incredible ability to inspire them to learn and grow. With her, no idea they might have is too extreme and all things are possible. I have seen her in action when she teaches and also when she spends time with our nephews and friends' children. She brings her enthusiasm for life into everything she does and loves to learn and discover. This spark and passion for life is exactly why children enjoy being around her and exactly why she will make a fabulous mother. Aimee always puts family first and looks forward to staying home to raise our child.

Aimee's Thoughts of Joe

Joe is my not only my husband but my best friend. I have known Joe since we were children and what stands out the most is his integrity, honesty, and adventuresome spirit. He is patient, thoughtful and one of the kindest people that I know. Joe is very affectionate, believing you should never take the ones you love for granted. He is completely dedicated to his family and always makes all of us his top priority. He cherishes his time at home, loves to decorate for every holiday and really makes our home a fun, comfortable and inviting place to be.

Joe has worked for a construction company for the past 15 years as an operator, running an excavator. He is a true outdoorsman and loves to spend his free time fishing, kayaking, skating and swimming at the beach. Joe's ability to run different kinds of equipment, along with his talent in landscaping has come in very handy when completing various projects around our home.

He loves to spend time with our family and friends and is always ready to host the next holiday or cookout. Joe also loves history, antiques, watching racing and grilling. He enjoys spending time in his dad's garage where he grew up learning about cars. I know he looks forward to someday cruising around with our child in the 32 Ford Coupe!

Devoted and loving

Joe has this innate ability to relate to kids (or possibly he is just a big kid himself). He has a huge amount of love to give and he and our four nephews are great pals! You can often find them laughing, reading, playing outdoors, building sandcastles, swimming or just fooling around. To be honest, to me, he is the kind of person who always makes things better just be being present. Our nephews absolutely adore him and always want to be with him. He looks forward to sharing special moments with our child, visiting all the same vacation spots he frequented as a kid and being the best dad he can possibly be!

Ollie

Wherever we go, Ollie, our very lovable, two-year-old Boston terrier is with us. He is absolutely adorable, and an ever present family member who loves hanging around with our nephews and the neighborhood kids. Kids come over to just spend time with him and will ask if he can come outside to play.

Ollie loves to swim with our nephews at their lake house! Our nephews, Dylan and Connor, can never tire Ollie out. He just loves to launch right off the boat with them!

Family Time....Aimee's side

Aimee comes from a very close-knit family. We love to spend time with her family and are so fortunate to have her parents less than a mile down the road. Her brother, sister-in-law and our two nephews live close by too! Aimee's parents are so excited about babysitting our future child and having another grandchild to spoil!

Joe's side

We often spend Christmas day with Joe's family and love to cook a special holiday meal. We can't wait to have a child to share in all the traditions that this holiday always brings. Family is the biggest focus during the holidays and we all get together, each cooking a different "favorite" dish and exchange lots of special gifts.

Joe's family lives less than one hour away along with his sister, brother-in-law, two nephews, aunts and cousins. We love to get together for special occasions, holidays and birthdays making each and every one memorable.

Family & Friends

There is nothing we enjoy more than getting together with family and friends! We are both so fortunate to come from close-knit families that are extremely supportive and loving. Our entire family is ecstatic as we wait in great hope and eagerness for the arrival of our child. We feel blessed to be surrounded by such love and excitement!
